Boveda Humidity Control Sachets will add or remove moisture within your storage container to maintain a specific relative humidity level. What allows Boveda to do this is its unique ingredients and a thickening agent contained within a reverse osmosis membrane produces a 2-way humidity control.  Maintain optimum humidity to prevent mold from forming or over dried or too crispy product.

Boveda is made from a combination of salts and purified water, so it is completely food grade safe. Boveda is safe to touch cannabis. First, remove a Boveda pack from the resealable bag, making sure to reseal the bag afterward. Then simply place the pack in your cannabis container. Seal your container closed to ensure it's airtight. That's it!

Do not mix Boveda 58% and 62% levels within the same container, and do not use Boveda in the same container with other humidification products. They will counteract each other and reduce the efficiency of the Boveda.

Boveda Humidity Control Sachets will lock in the moisture content by regulating the humidity inside your container. With that moisture locked in, weight loss is eliminated due to moisture evaporation, helping to maintain quality. Boveda will enhance color, aroma and taste.

The life of a Boveda product depends on how hard it has to work. The more moisture it has to give up, the harder it has to work and the more it takes away from the product’s life span.  You’ll know it’s time to replace Boveda when it’s no longer pliable.

It’s impossible for Boveda to over-humidify beyond the RH on the pack. That’s why our usage instructions talk about minimums, not maximums. There’s no such thing as using “too much”. More than the minimum will just last longer.

To ensure zero gap in your 2-way humidity control, replace your Boveda every 3 months. Order replacement packs BEFORE Boveda is rigid all the way through to avoid a lapse in humidity protection in your cannabis container.
Boveda is still working if you feel:

Hardening at its corners

Soft spots among some hard areas
Boveda is expired if:

The entire pack feels rock solid all the way through

Boveda is the safest way to keep your product fresh and maximizes Terpenes.

8 Gram Boveda – up to 28 Grams of herbal weight

67 Gram Boveda – up to 450 Grams of herbal weight

320 Gram Boveda – up to 2250 Grams of herbal weight

Below are recommendations for the various humidity levels: These recommendations are dependent on how dry the herbs are when placed in airtight containers together with a Boveda pack. Boveda recommends drying to around 11% before placing into airtight containers with Boveda packs.

58% Relative Humidity
High humidity climates i.e Cape Town (Winter), Durban (All year)
If herbs that are not dry enough are placed into a jar, the 58% will be more effective at dehumidifying the jar.

62% Relative Humidity
Low humidity climates i.e Johannesburg (All year) Cape Town (Summer)
If herbs that are too dry are placed into a jar, the 62% will be more effective at replenishing moisture in the flower.

All herbs work beautifully but some will react differently to the different RH level. So testing is the best practice.
