Directions for use
Fertigation / hydroponics
XTRA-CAL® is suitable for use in fertigation. A
solution of 0,01% is recommended. Repeat the
application fortnightly during the growing
season.
Soil application
The application rate must take into account plant
size, the degree of deficiency and plant
population.
Foliar application
Fertilizer burn is expected at a concentration of 4% and higher. The recommended application rate is 3%
(30ml XTRA-CAL® in 1 L water), unless otherwise specified. Plants should be sprayed to just before the point of runoff and applications can be repeated weekly or fortnightly. Foliar sprays should be applied during cool times and, to avoid any burn reactions, the plants should not be stressed.
Do not apply to drought stressed plants
Maintain a pH of 5.5 to 6 for optimal miscibility
The product should be stored safely
